Finalists will be announced September 1, 2014. I'm also happy to announce that Aberration has made the finals in two categories in the eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards for 2014: Best Villain and the "I've Been Shamylaned" Award for Best Twist. Voting is open until late August.

    Q: What are the eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards?

    The eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards is a peer-nominated award program designed to highlight the best of the independent community from both indie authors and small, independent presses. The nominations were made by various individuals within the industry such as other authors, agents, editors, librarians, reviewers, et cetera.  Over 500 nominations were processed this year.  The awards are part of the eFestival of Words Virtual Book Fair program.

    In May, Finding Claire Fletcher was nominated in 3 categories:  Best Novel, Best Thriller and Best Heroine for Claire Fletcher.

    In July, the book made the finals in Best Novel and Best Heroine.

    On August 25, 2013 the winners were announced.  The book won in the Best Heroine category and was runner up in the Best Novel category.
