So Many Things!

Posted by Lisa L. on Monday, October 6, 2014,

I've been away so long! I apologize. This summer kicked my behind. I had a wee bit of a health scare which involved me having to get an MRI of my brain (everything is fine) and then a minor surgery (again, everything is also fine).

Seriously, waiting for appointments to begin is an awesome time to write!
I think I got 3K done waiting for this MRI.

The school year came so quickly, I've barely had time to process things, let alone blog about them. There are so many things I wanted to comment on ...

Get Your Vote On at the eFestival of Words Awards!

Posted by Lisa L. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014,

So I did a post earlier this year about all the amazing authors I know who had been nominated in the eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards for 2014. In an awesome turn of events, all the authors I was rooting for made it to the finals this year in one or more of the categories they were nominated in, so I'm going to ask you to help an author out and go vote for these authors. I've read their books and loved them. I am very passionate about them so please, please, PLEASE take...

Posted by Lisa L. on Friday, June 27, 2014,

I'm way late to the party but better late than never, I suppose. In May, the eFestival of Words Best of Independent eBook nominations for 2014 were announced. Well the votes are in and my debut novel, the one that took me over six years to get into the hands of readers, the one that was passed over so many times by agents and publishers before finally finding champions, the one that was snubbed repeatedly so many times, is a WINNER!

Today Finding Claire Fletcher won Best Heroine for Claire Fletcher and came in as runner up in Best Novel in the eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards for 2013!

WOO HOO!!!!!!

I am thrilled and overwhelmed...

Last Call!

Posted by Lisa L. on Monday, August 19, 2013,

Yes, I've been remiss in my blogging duties.  This summer is kicking my $#%.  So I apologize.  The good news is that I'm actually making progress on my next book.  Like real progress.  I'm really just popping my head up from said manuscript to ask one more time that (if you have not already) you vote in the eFestival of Words Best of the Independent eBook Awards.  This is the last week for voting.  Voting closes August 23, 2013.  Finding Claire Fletcher is doing quite well in Best Heroine but...
